| YAC Retreat |
| The Young Adult class will be trekking to Wallace State Park for the YAC Retreat Friday, May 30th through Saturday June 1st. The theme of the retreat will be "Beyond Survivor". Come and join us as we fellowship together and speand time in worship as well as learning how God wants us to become overcomers for Him. There will be some fun games and skits! The cost for the weekend is $25 and will include all meals, travel expenses and a cool t-shirt! You can sign-up from now until May 17th, and your money is due on May 25th. | Mother's Day Concert |
| Next Sunday our evening service will be devoted to a special concert performed by the Foundation Brass Ensemble. This professional group is comprised of the brass instrumental faculty at Bob Jones University. All the members are active in performing with orchestras throughout the South and have a heart to honor Christ with a spirit of excellence. Dad's, this would be a great opportunity for your sons and daughters to bring their moms on a special Mother's Day date (you can come along too!) Plan to make next Sunday evening a part of your Mother's Day celebration. |
| Men's Retreat - Living Intentionally |
| The 2008 Countryside men's retreat will be on Friday-Saturday, June 6-7 at Amazing Grace Baptist Camp in Ottawa. The speaker for this year's retreat will be Dr. Matt Olson. He will be addressing the theme: Living Intentionally -- Putting God's Priorities into Practice. Regardless of your season of life, this will prove to be a valuable time for all who attend. A bus will be leaving from the church at 5:30 on Friday, but anyone wishing to drive may certainly do so. The camp is available from 4:00 on Friday and the retreat will conclude at 3:00 on Saturday. The retreat cost is $50.00 which includes all meals and activities at the camp. |
