Why Doctrine Is Important

At Countryside we want everything we do to be guided and driven by the word of God. We believe that God has revealed Himself most clearly in His word through His son Jesus Christ, and that we must live in light of that word. We are convinced that doctrine is practical; it fuels the fires of personal growth and corporate worship. We do not see doctrine and theology as something that is merely academic, but rather as something essential to worship, ministry, and evangelism. Therefore it is our desire at Countryiside to let the revelation of God's character in His word shape our church in every area.
