Pastor Scott Nicoll

In 1980 as a high school junior, Scott felt a call from God to minister to teens. Originally Scott believed this burden to minister to teens would see fulfillment in Christian school education, but after teaching three years in a Christian school and becoming a sponsor in the youth ministry of a local church, it was obvious God wanted Scott to minister to teens in a local church setting. In 1990, God led Scott and his wife Dori to Countryside. Immediately upon their arrival they began serving the teens. Scott's deep desire was to see young people conformed to the image of Christ so that they would make a difference in their world for Him.

Through twenty years of youth ministry God used Scott and Dori in incredible ways at Countryside, and He continued to develop them as well. In 2011 Scott transitioned to a role as associate pastor, bringing with him a wealth of hands-on experience in ministering to people. His role now includes counseling and pastoral care for families, which God has especially prepared him for over the last twenty years of faithful service in the local church.

Scott and Dori have four wonderful children, one great son-in-law and one very precious granddaughter. Scott enjoys spending time with his family, going on hikes with the love of his life, camping, traveling, and watching most sporting events.
